We are an alternative provision that offers a bespoke, multi-sensory curriculum rooted in the UK National Curriculum, tailored for learners who may not thrive in traditional settings. Our work is underpinned by compassionate practice, individualised support, and a strong belief in the potential of every young person.
Who We Are
At Serenity Pathways, we believe that every child deserves a place where they can thrive. We provide a nurturing, therapeutic environment where young people are supported not only academically, but emotionally, socially, and personally. We are an alternative provision that offers a bespoke, multi-sensory curriculum rooted in the UK National Curriculum, tailored for learners who may not thrive in traditional settings. Our work is underpinned by compassionate practice, individualised support, and a strong belief in the potential of every young person. Our provision is based at Maisemore Village Hall, a welcoming and accessible location offering a calm, spacious environment ideal for therapeutic and personalised learning. The hall features large, airy rooms that provide flexible spaces for both group and individual sessions. Learners also benefit from a beautiful outdoor area, perfect for outdoor learning, play, and nature-based activities. Surrounded by the peaceful Gloucestershire countryside, we make full use of nearby country walks to support wellbeing and outdoor exploration. With ample on-site parking, the setting is accessible for those with disabilities and is easy to access for families, staff.
What Do We Specialise In?
​At Serenity Pathways, we specialise in providing tailored educational provision for children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, moderate learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and those who have experienced school-based trauma. Our approach is rooted in a deep understanding of each and every individual, offering a nurturing, therapeutic environment where learners feel safe, valued, and supported. We Follow the National Curriculum and Have specialist staff who work together to create personalised learning pathways that recognise and respond to each child’s unique profile, building confidence, resilience, and a love for learning. We use a range of high-quality teaching and holistic interventions such as Thrive & Outdoor learning opportunities. We also offer educational and wellbeing mentoring to help learners develop the skills, mindset, and emotional tools they need to succeed. Our mentoring supports academic progress while fostering emotional literacy, positive relationships, and self-regulation, helping young people navigate challenges and reach their full potential.
Who Do We Support?
Serenity Pathways is a nurturing and inclusive alternative provision that supports both primary-aged children (4–11 years) and post-16 learners (16–21 years). These provisions operate separately, ensuring that younger pupils do not mix with older learners, while each group benefits from a tailored, age-appropriate environment.
We work with children and young people with a wide range of learning profiles and diverse presentations of SEND, including but not limited to:
• Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
• Specific Learning Difficulties (e.g., dyslexia)
• Autism Spectrum Condition (with or without associated MLD/SLD)
• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
• Physical Disabilities
• Visual or Hearing Impairments
• Multisensory Impairments

To ensure accessibility, Serenity Pathways also offers transport support and virtual learning options where required. Our part-time education offer provides up to 15 hours of learning per week, term-time only, and is fully tailored to each learner’s individual journey.

It helps children understand their feelings, form healthy relationships, and manage behaviours. Every child is supported to feel safe, heard, and ready to learn. Forest School; Nature is a vital part of our curriculum. Forest School sessions provide: - Outdoor learning and exploration - Risk-taking, problem-solving, and creativity - Physical activity and teamwork - Opportunities for calm, mindfulness, and connection Our Curriculum. We follow the UK National Curriculum, adapting it to meet each childs unique stage of development. Our curriculum includes: - English, Maths, and Science - Computing, History, Geography - Art & Design, Music, PE. Our program is delivered through multi-sensory, child-led, and interest-based methods. We use a broad and balanced approach, combining academic, creative, and therapeutic input.​​

​Each learner at Serenity Pathways follows an individualised learning journey, shaped by the folowing: - their EHCP or IEP outcomes - Their strengths, needs, and interests - Our commitment to differentiation and inclusion Enrichment and Holistic Support At Serenity Pathways, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. As part of our holistic provision, we offer a range of practical, real-world learning opportunities designed to build independence, confidence, and essential life skills. Our offer includes: Transport support, ensuring learners can access our setting safely and consistently. Cooking and nutrition sessions, helping young people develop independence, healthy habits, and confidence in the kitchen. Life skills programmes, covering areas such as personal care, budgeting, communication, and everyday problem solving. Outdoor learning, including Forest School activities that support emotional regulation, resilience, and a connection with nature. Community-based learning, giving learners the chance to engage with the world around them, practise social skills, and build confidence in real-life situations. These opportunities are woven into our personalised pathways to support each learner’s educational, emotional, and social development in meaningful, practical ways​​​​
Pricing
We pride ourselves on being competitively priced, whilst still delivering high quality tailored proviosion.​
£47.50 per hour, Plus VAT.

Transport can be offered on limited basis at an additional fee of 45p per mile up-to 10 miles from our base.
Learners can have a maximum of 15 hours of provision from us, a week. This is also Term time only over 39 weeks.
